Description

A very pretty Edwardian silver double lipped pedestal sauceboat with beaded rim and tightly curved strap handles with split upper terminal. Ornate cast decoration of scrolled acanthus leaves, curved threaded edges, graduated beaded central line and stylised foliate decoration to the lower part and terminal. Hallmarked for Chester, makers Herbert Edward Barker & Frank Ernest Barker.

It measures 15.1cm (5 15/16") long and 12.7cm (5") wide and 8.6cm (3 3/8") high. It weighs 117g / 3.8ozt.

In excellent condition with no damage, dents or repairs and very light handling wear.
