Antique Victorian Diamond Ring Navette Design Over 1ct Total - C.1890

£1,850    $2,338    €2,221
We are delighted to offer this magnificent antique Victorian 18ct gold diamond navette ring made c.1890.

The ring features a wonderful 17 old-cut diamond design all intricately set in a navette/marquise design with beautiful Victorian goldsmithing and fine claws. Three central diamonds are of larger and tapering sizes with the central diamond being an estimated 0.35ct and the total carat being over 1ct+.

Attention to detail is furthermore apparent where two diamonds have also been set in the ''shoulders'' of the ring to complement and complete its overall stunning appearance - a truly dazzling and lovely piece indeed.

This design allows for the angles of the diamonds to be slightly different on each stone, maximising the shine and reflection of the ring. The ring glistens delightfully upon wearing particularly when under natural sunlight.

Such a combination of fine goldsmithing and dazzling diamonds make for an excellent and versatile choice whether be it for wearing as a contrasting piece of jewellery among other pieces or as an eye-catching single ring.

Diamond is known to be the birthstone for April.

A very special gift to a lucky individual or as an indulging gift to oneself. Classically elegant, distinguished and a conversation starter.

The ring is marked ''18'' for 18ct gold on the inside of the shank.

All of our jewellery comes with a complimentary hard shell gift box with a velvet interior.

Ready to wear out of the box: All of our pendants also include the photographed thinner complimentary 9ct solid gold (modern) chain so that you can enjoy your newly acquired treasure straight out of the box.
