At 77cm high, this attractive and practical 1920s mahogany tabour fronted filing cabinet will sit comfortably next to your desk, providing you with extra storage and working surface. The eight drawers are of a standard four-sided format, ideal for storing paperwork. Each drawer has its original brass label holder. Its smooth running tambour front also has its original brass escutcheon, working lock and key. As you can see from the images the surface has retained an appealing warmth, which our restorers have further enhanced using traditional French polish and wax. The drawers have spent much of their life behind the tambour so are slightly darker in colour. This difference in tone to the exterior is particularly pleasing.
