Antique Treen 19th Ash Half Pint Measure & 19th Elm Half Pint Measure. English C1880-90.

Two very good examples of late 19thc measures, which would have been used for ''dry'' powders, such as flour, grain etc....both ''country'' made out of ash and elm....stamped with the custom & excise mark VR and one with the letters LCC for London County Council, which was formed in the final years of Queen Victoria, so we can date this to the end of the 19thc around C1890....both in excellent condition.
