Beautiful Antique English Silver Plated Bottle Holder C.1900

Description

A particularly attractive example of a bottle holder, whether you wish to place a bottle of red in it or a refreshing sparkling mineral water.

The beautifully shaped rim is beaded which is followed through to a garland formed pierced frieze with oval shaped "jewels".

The underside is marked EPNS for Electro-Plated Nickel Silver with a figural makers mark which I am unfamiliar with; three stars in the centre of a club shape.

Excellent condition, measuring 6 3/4" tall with a base diameter measuring 5 1/2".
