This is a good early 20th Century walnut framed bergere sofa in excellent condition dating from around 1930. The sofa has been beautifully upholstered in a lovely colourful chinoiserie style Italian upholstery fabric by Colony called “Arabesque”. The sumptuous feather filled cushions are edged with rich fluffy tasselled borders. The bergere work is double caned to the swept arms and the frame has an attractive curved back and stout carved cabriole legs.

The sofa measures 186 cms in length 98 cms high by 80 cms deep.The seat is 48 cms high with each cushion measuring 54 cms wide by 60 cms deep.
