Gatsby Jewellery Ltd has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The impressive, sweeping platinum shoulders are set with 12 (six each side) chunky old mine cut diamonds, which leads to a 18k yellow gold shank with double-fluted detailing. A further pair of old cut diamonds are set in the decorative swirls to the east and west of the pearl. Truly lovely.

Cut:? One of the main diamonds is a round brilliant, one is an old European cut. The remaining diamonds are old mine cuts.
Colour:? The two main diamonds are H and I. The remaining diamonds range from I to M.
Clarity:? One main diamonds is I1, one is VS2. The reminding diamonds are VS2 to I1. All the diamonds are clean to the naked eye.
Carat:? Each of the two larger diamonds is approximately 0.45 carat. With a further approximate 0.17 carat in the surround.
Condition:? One of the main diamonds is a modern replacement. This does not materially impact the look of the ring, but is worth being aware of.

Measurements:? From the outer edge of one of the larger diamonds to the other is 17.2. The top of the pearl sits 9.1mm from the finger.
