A gold, Victorian pendant complete with the original 18ct gold fine neck-chain. The conjoined dragonflies with old cut diamond studded wings and bodies and ruby eyes, have alighted each side of a blue topaz. To highlight the gems, the gold setting has been overlaid in silver, typically Victorian. The wingspan is approx. 2 inches.
Extremely pretty this unusual, delicately created pendant is very special. The Victorians were very fond of insect jewels and this is a classical example.
