Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The hexagonal lantern with ogee and reeded arched panels holding the glazing. The corners with orb finials, and one panel hinging open as a door, to allow access to the three light central boss, the branches ringed and finished with orb terminals, holding the dish and stepped drip pans. The boss held by the rope twist column emerging from the boss. The corners of the underside of the lantern finished with orb finials.
Date circa 1900.
