Art Nouveau 1.65 Carat Ruby Solitaire Ring, Circa 1910

1900 - 1920
Description

An exceptionally pretty vintage ruby ring. The centre stone, which displays a strong violet-ish, purple-y red has been certified as natural and having received no treatment. A gold daisy is set in each of the split shoulders, leading to a slender 18k yellow gold shank.

Accompanied by a ruby report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the ruby shows no evidence of heating.

Cut:? Oval.

Clarity:? SI; clean to the naked eye.

Carat:? 1.65.

Circa:? 1910.

Size:? K 1/2 (UK) or 5 3/8 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:? The ruby is 7.8 x 5.8mm. Sits 5.8mm from the finger.

Weight:? 2.77 grams.

Metal:? 18k yellow gold. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
