Parshvanatha is revered as the 23rd Tirthankara in Jainism, living around the 8th or 9th century BCE. Bronze and brass shrines dedicated to him were widely commissioned throughout western and central India for domestic worship and temple veneration, serving as central focus points for meditation and devotional practice.
