A very fine 19th Century giltwood margin overmantel or hall mirror of large proportions and superb quality. The central mirror glass plate of rectangular form is bordered with an additional set of six mirror glass plates, all set within a stunningly hand carved, moulded and fluted giltwood frame with shaped top corner returns and profusely decorated with gorgeous ribbon twist, flowerhead, beaded row, lambs tongue, trailing foliate and scroll motif detail throughout.
