With a circular cover, topped by a button handle and edged with a concave moulding. The cover fitting within the chamfered rim of the pail body. The rim sweeping into a concave neck and thence the melon shaped pail. The reeding tapering into a flat foot. The body mounted with a pair of swept handles.
Date circa 1850.
