Attractively Detailed French Double Black and Brass Bed

A lovely French double bed with really attractive castings and clamps, these are in very good detail and condition and both the castings and clamps have a lovely spiral design. The castings have a pretty brass cap and ball, further adding to this beds charm.

Professionally restored with all joints checked for a solid and secure fit. The siderails have been adapted to be able to take slats or a bed base.

Whole frame shot blasted and primed prior to hand pant finish in Little Greene’s Jack Black colour, gently dark waxed and buffed well to protect and give a gentle shine.

Suitable for standard double size mattress 4’6” x 6’3”/ 135cm x 190cm

Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height.

The bed is photographed on slats with one of our Bordeaux mattresses. We can also supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices. Please see our web site or email for full specifications and prices.

We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol.
