A very cute sized William IV Rosewood lap desk darting back to c.1830.
The lap desk is in a superb piece of rosewood featuring a mother of pearl top and key escutcheon.
It has two inkwell sections one with the original ink well. There are lidded sections containing nibs and waxes. A nib slope and A pen slope including a bone handled pen with compartment underneath
The box is complete with a working lock and key.
Superb quality and condition measuring 31 x 25 and stands 10cm high.
