A fine and large Ashworth earthenware Ironstone China meat plate c.1850 with Chinoiserie decoration in vibrant colours depicting a boat sailing toward houses raised on poles, with ornate floral decoration around the edge. This beautiful platter is marked on the underside and is in excellent condition commensurate with age, measuring 20 ½ inches in length.
