A mesmeric antique emerald ring. The emerald cut emerald in the centre - certified as Colombian - displays a bright, grassy green. Although there are inclusions in the emerald (which is common), the stone remain bright and vivid. Sixteen old mine cut diamonds surround the centre stone, each in an individual rubover setting, with a further two diamonds nestled in the split shoulders. The unusual vented back-hole features decorative hand-engraving - the sort of detail one would only ever find in an antique piece. On a fluted, slim 18k gold shank.
Accompanied by an emerald report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the emerald shows evidence of significant clarity enhancement, and is Colombian in origin.
