Milliner's Wood Mechanical Hat Stretcher Sizer.

Description

This handsome Milliner's hat stretcher which dates from the late 19th / early 20th century sits on it's wooden base that is fitted with a hat sizer chart and has an attractive golden brown patina.

This fine mechanical hat sizer has a large metal handle which when turned opens and closes the wooden hat section to adjust the size.

These hat stretchers also make wonderful display pieces either on their own or for displaying hats and wigs.

Dimensions: Length: 31 cm (12 1/4"). Width: 16 cm (6 1/4"). Height: 31.5 cm (12 1/2").

Weight: 4.832 kg.

Condition: Very good used antique condition with light signs of use in keeping with age leaving a wonderful patina and look. Some small chips, cracks, bruises and age related wear from use. Some old woodworm that has been treated and filled. Opens and closes as it should.

Please note that only the wooden hat stretcher is included. The hat and any other items in the pictures are for display only.
