Super late 18th Century 8 Day Oak Longcase Clock with Attractive Burr Inlay & Hand Painted Hood Panel. Long Trunk Door with Reeded Columns and Panelled Base Above Bracket Feet.

Samuel Haywood of Northwich Cheshire Circa 1784. One of his clocks is noted to have the case is signed ‘J. Mason Cabinetmaker, Weaverham’.
 
The 8 Day Hour Bell Striking Movement has been Checked, Serviced and Tested. Fully Working Order (excluding the date) and keeping Good Time. Brass Dial with Seconds Chapter, Cherub Head Spandrels and Fine Engraving to the Centre.
