Art Deco sculpture of a young lady and a pair of greyhounds. Made from plaster and dramatically detailed in shades of black and gold.

Signed ‘S. Melani’ by the artist on the base. Salvatore Melani who was an Italian Art Deco sculptor (1902-1934). The back of the base is further marked ‘S.A.P Depose’ and with the serial number ‘801’.

This large sculpture is in good condition, with some light wear in places commensurate with age.
