Description

A very rare Irish Provincial Silver soup ladle. Made in Cork by William Reynolds Jr. around 1790. He was apprenticed to his father also called William Reynolds and received his freedom in 1790, they worked in a shop in North Main Street in Cork. This is a very rare maker who's pieces are seldom seen. This ladle is marked on the back "WR" "STERLING" "WR" and has a stags's head crest on the front. It is in excellent condition with only surface scratches.

WEIGHT; 185 grams or 6 ozst.
