1950s Jolus Chronograph Wristwatch

1940 - 1960
Description

A 1950s Jolus chronograph wristwatch. A rare salmon pink/copper dial finish, with subsidiary seconds dials to 3 and 9 o'clock. Arabic numerals of a stylised design in a gilt mirrored finish, segmented by recessed gilt dots. Blued steel hands.

An oversized base metal case with shaped lugs, seperated from the bezel. A stainless steel snap on case back with stamped serial number.

The watch is powered by a derivative of the Landeron caliber 51, 17 jewel mechanism. This watch dates to circa 1950.

Case height 47mm

Case depth 15mm
