Antique Regency Rosewood Fold Over Tea Table

Description

An exceptional Regency period early 19th century rosewood tea table.

The top swivelling and folding open above a wonderfully carved frieze atop the upwardly tapering decorative pedestal terminating in a quatrefoil base with striking beautifully shaped feet which hide the smooth running original brass castors.

Very good condition, structurally all sound with just some light age related wear and some repairs to the veneer.

English, circa 1830’s.
