Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

A Victorian rock crystal intaglio brooch is a piece of late 19th-century jewellery featuring a design carved into the back of a clear rock crystal panel, creating a three-dimensional image when viewed from the front.

These brooches typically utilised natural rock crystal quartz set within 18ct gold or silver mounts, frequently embellished with natural diamonds, emeralds, rubies, or pearls.

Authentic pieces display hand-carved details on the reverse of the crystal, period-correct pin fastenings such as elongated c-clasps, and Victorian hallmarks or metal purity stamps on the gold setting.

Antique brooches can be fastened to blazer lapels, secured on silk scarves, attached to the collar of a button-down shirt, or displayed in framed velvet jewel boxes.

Clean gently with a soft lint-free cloth and mild soap solution, avoiding ultrasonic cleaners or harsh chemicals that may damage silver oxidisation or emerald inclusions.
