Description

Antique 1814 George III gilt sterling silver tea service – William & Patrick Cunningham

The set includes a teapot, a two-handled sugar bowl, and a creamer, all showcasing fine quality and heavy-gauge silver craftsmanship.

The round, squat baluster bodies are embossed with a fluted design, raised on four ball feet, and trimmed with gadrooned borders. The teapot boasts a domed ogee lid with a lobed button finial and an ornate moulded scroll handle, capped with an acanthus design. The cream jug and sugar basin interiors are sumptuously gold-washed, adding an extra touch of elegance.
