A superb pair of Meiji period, Bronze vases 17 inches high. Decorated with cranes, flying on one vase and wading the other. In typical Japanese style, a combination of outstanding accuracy and serene understated beauty. The base of each vase, on the Interior, is also decorated, one with a stylised chrysanthemum, the other with a village scene.
