A fine porcelain basket by Chamberlain''s with shaped rim with moulded bellflower type vine and scallop shells, and a raised twig formed handle, all decorated with gilding over white. Set on a raised squared foot with moulded detail also picked out in gilt. It is decorated with a striking sky blue enamel ground with a large rectangular reserve superbly painted with a view of Worcester. This vignette is framed in gilt with raised gilded hearts and beading. Marked ''Chamberlains Worcester'' in script to the base and the landscape named ''Worcester''. c.1840.

In excellent condition with no damage or repair and very minor handling wear. The surface is finely crazed as part of manufacture.
