Antique late Victorian boxed pair of sterling silver salts with spoons (1900)
This elegant boxed pair of sterling silver salts, together with matching spoons, dates to 1900 and features a refined Neoclassical style. The salts have oval, boat-shaped navette bodies with large loop side-handles, embossed with a reeded design and gold-washed interiors. The accompanying spoons have fluted shell bowls and beaded terminals, complementing the sophisticated design of the salts.
The set is housed in its original fitted presentation case, crafted from dark brown leather with a gold-embossed border on the domed hinged lid. The interior is lined with emerald green velvet and silk, adding a luxurious touch to this collectible piece.
