A stylish Coalport bone china coffee cup and saucer in the London shape, beautifully decorated with a stylised oriental inspired pattern in a chic imari palette of a very dark underglaze mazarine blue, iron red and apple green enamel and a light smudgy grey used to create shading to the white flowers reserved in the blue. The inside of the cup is unusually decorated all over the base as well as the walls. The whole pattern is embellished with gilding and finished with gilt rims. Marked with a pattern number in gilt, seemingly ''10*9'', c.1815.The cup measures 6.1cm (2 3/8'') high to the rim and 7.2cm (2 13/16'' rim to rim and the saucer is 14cm (5 1/2'') wide.In excellent condition with no damage or repair and mimimal handling wear.Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
