THE MOST STRIKING ELEMENTS OF THIS RUG ARE THE STILLNESS,CLARITY AND SIMPLICITY OF THE COMPOSITION AND DRAWING.

THE UNI-COLOURED MIHRAB HAS A STEPPED AND LINED CONTOUR WITH INNER YELLOW COLOURED LATCH HOOKS BELOW TWO ROSETTES EITHER SIDE OF THE KOTCHAK CROWN.

THE LARGE RHOMBI OF THE MAIN BORDER ARE FILLED WITH HOOKED "STAR BLOSSOMS" AND EDGED BY QUARTERS OF THE YUN-CHIEN.

A JOY TO BEHOLD.
