Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The movement is Omegas highly reliable calibre 342 fully automatic Bumper movement. An Omega "bumper" is a vintage Omega that has a "bumper" automatic movement rather than a full rotation rotor automatic. The oscillating weight makes a partial rotation before "bumping" into a cushioning spring. This is the earliest type of automatic movement.
The two tone dial with sub seconds is totally original and un touched it has had no restoration whatsoever, its in fabulous condition with just a slight even patina to give away its 70 years.
The case is in fabulous condition all we have done is a light hand polish with some jewellers rouge to bring out the colour of the solid 18ct rose gold. The case back has none of the case tool damage normally seen on watches from this period, its just perfect.
Remarkably this watch comes with its original Omega paperwork from 1953 and additional valuation certificates done through the years.
The watch has just been fully serviced and is guaranteed to be genuine Omega in all respects. It is keeping time to within Omegas original specification and comes with a one year warranty.

This would undoubtedly be the most coveted Seamaster of any major collection.
