Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Characterised by features inspired by 18th-century cabinetmakers, Edwardian Revival desks typically feature mahogany construction, cabriole legs, carved acanthus leaf details, ball and claw feet, and gold-tooled leather writing surfaces.

Early 20th-century writing desks were predominantly constructed from solid mahogany or walnut, featuring hand-carved decorative motifs, cast brass hardware, dovetailed drawer joints, and gilded skiver leather tops.

Authentic pieces display hand-cut dovetail joints inside the drawer construction, cast brass handles exhibiting natural patination, genuine wear on the inset leather, and hand-carved detailing along the knees and border trim.

Position the desk in a light-filled home office or library, pairing it with a contemporary desk chair, minimalist brass lighting, and curated modern artwork to create a balanced, transitional aesthetic.

Dust the wooden surfaces regularly with a soft cloth and apply a quality beeswax polish along the grain twice a year, while cleaning the leather top with a damp cloth and specialised leather conditioner to prevent cracking.
