A rare ''tea caddy'' pembroke table circa 1820 with one of the two drawers containing a tea caddy which is original to the piece. The table is a beautiful mahogany with crossbanding and stringing to the top. The drawers and apron are decorated with stringing and ebony inlay. The curved legs, which are joined by a shaped tier are also decorated with stringing and sit on brass castors.
A very attractive, high quality table which with the inclusion of the tea caddy also makes it very rare - I have been unable to find another like it.
