A Fine Quality Victorian Period Mahogany Antique Pedestal Desk

Description

A fine quality Victorian Period mahogany antique pedestal desk. The rectangular solid mahogany top having an inset green leather writing surface with gilt and blind tooled detail. The front having an arrangement of nine rectangular mahogany lined drawers with circular brass handles and retaining the original locks with working key. The locks stamped V.R. Having solid mahogany sides and reverse and raised on rounded cornered plinths with inset brass castors. English circa 1860-1870 in excellent overall condition, cleaned and waxed.

Dimensions: 54" wide x 32" deep x 29" high (knee hole 23" high x 24" wide)
