Description

Antique silver Thomas Russell pocket watch, 1903.

The watch has a ¾ plate English stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Thomas Russell, Liverpool, Makers to Queen Victoria, and it also has the Thomas Rusell Tempus Fugit logo. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Chester 1903 together with a mark for Thomas Russell. The case is in good condition with general light surface marks and a gentle hint of unevenness to the back, nothing serious at all.

The acrylic lens is in good condition, just a couple of light marks but nothing serious at all.

The signed dial is in good condition, just one short hairline between number 7 and the sub seconds dial. Pin set blued steel hands.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
