An unusually small Regency mahogany Secretaire bookcase, with astragal glazed doors enclosing two adjustable shelves and a panelled back. The Secretaire drawer & top of chest is cross-banded & ebony line inlay. The Secretaire drawer is well fitted with small satinwood drawers and cubby holes. It has a green leather writing suface. The drawers are oak lined, with decorative brass octagonal ring handles. The Secretaire bookcase stands on elegant splay bracket feet. It comes apart in the middle for transportation.
