A massive 18th - 19th century Italian majolica charger, decorated with colourful romanesque mythological scenes with renaissance patterned designs on the outer rim. The plate has been damaged at some stage, with evidence of cracks and old plaster restorations. Overall this is a lovely decorative display piece in country house condition.
