A lovely pair of Georgian revival boat salts, dating from the Victorian era. The oval bodies have vertical prism cut rims and a band of cut swags shaped design, featuring cross hatching and stars. The diamond shaped feet are star cut underneath and the stems are hexagonal and cut in panels
The bowls are of good size and would make a useful and attractive addition to a well laid table. Apart from salt, ideas for other uses are condiments or sauces, such as mint, cranberry, mayonnaise and parmesan. Included are a pair of hallmarked silver gilt spoons. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent with no cracks or breaks. There are a couple of bruises to the feet, commensurate with age and use.
