Antique Victorian Pine Clothes Press C1880

Antique Victorian Original Pine Clothes Press and dating from around 1880. Constructed from quality pine it has a moulded cornice to the top above two moulded arched panelled doors with brass handles and ivoreen escutcheons. Internally and to one side there is a hanging rail and to the other side there are two shelves. To each side there are carved corbal supports to both top and bottom. The base has a moulded edge above a secret frieze drawer above two short drawers over two long drawers all with original brass handles and ivoreen escutcheons. To each side are turned columns with corbal supports. It is raised on turned feet and the top separates from the base for ease of transporting.
