1951 Omega 'Bumper' Automatic Wristwatch

1940 - 1960
Description

A 1951 Omega Automatic 'Bumper' wristwatch. A silvered dial with a sunburst finish. Applied gilt batons, larger at the quarters and doubled at 12 o'clock. Gilt 'dauphine' hands and a sweep seconds. Signed below the logo 'Omega Automatic'.

A stainless steel one piece case body with a screw down case back. An original Omega winding crown. Case reference 2577-2.

The watch is powered by a 17 jewel caliber 351 Omega mechanism.. The 12.9m serial numbers date this watch to 1951.
