C1880 Walking Stick Cane Indian Colonial Solid Silver Pommel Rosewood Shaft

Lovely rosewood and solid Indian silver walking stick or cane.
 
The silver isn''t stamped but tested 925 standard.
 
Lovely decoration to the handle. Repousse work with a cartouche to the top bearing the name M Mitchell.
 
beautiful rosewood shaft, the grain pattern shows better in natural light than it does in the pictures. Very strong and will support a good weight.
 
It measures 95.2 cm 37 1/2 inches in length, the handle is 8 cm 3 1/8 inches wide and 6.4 cm 2 1/2 inches tall.
 
The ferrule is original and made of brass and steel.
 
It''s in excellent condition but with some signs of age and use as you''d expect at this age.
 
Some minor surface marks to the silver as shown but no holes or splits.
