An unusual antique Victorian sterling silver and glass brandy decanter which is shaped in the form of a thistle with a plain side handle and resting on a flat base. The top part of the body has been etched with the word ''Brandy'' and the lower half has stylish panelled detailing. This decanter has a plain silver mount with a good pouring spout and a shaped stopped that fits snugly within the neck of the body. It would make a useful addition to a collection and would be perfect to use. It remains in excellent condition. When taking photographs, it is difficult to eliminate the reflection on silver.
