Henry Spernon Tozer 1865-1955.Born in Sheerness,Kent,Tozer spent much of his life living and painting in Cornwall.Tozer is highly regarded as a painter of country life,with a bias towards cottage interiors.Many of Henry’s paintings are of older people in domestic situations.He would often include an elderly person in his watercolours.He was known to have exhibited at Birmingham as well as as exhibiting and selling a painting at the opening of Newlyn Art Gallery.
