Mid Century 1.00 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, Circa 1955

Description

A glorious vintage engagement ring. The natural old European cut diamond in the centre - weighing exactly 1.00 carat - is high white, bright and full of fire. The stone is set in a six claw coronet collet, with two pairs of icy baguette cut diamonds which step down to a slim, 18k white gold shank. Seriously impressive.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR.

Cut:? Old European cut in the centre, with baguette cuts in the shoulders.

Colour:? The centre is G. The baguettes range from F to G.

Clarity:? The centre is SI1. The baguettes are VS1 to VS2.

Carat:? The centre diamond is 1.00 carat, with a further approximate 0.36 carat of baguette cut diamonds.

Circa:? 1955.

Size:? N (UK) or 6.5(US). Free sizing available.

Weight:? 3.06 grams.

Metal:? 18k white gold. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
