This wooden box that dates from c1900 originated from London & North Western Railway and would have been used to store used detonators.
This antique box has a wonderful look with it''s black paint and has the wording Old Detonators painted in white to the top lid.
This wonderfully decorative box has a top hinged lift up lid which is fitted with two metal hinges and can be fitted to the wall or could be free standing.
Dimensions: Width: 30 cm (11 3/4''). Depth: 26 cm (10 1/4''). Height: 36.5 cm (14 1/2'').
Weight: 3440 g.
Condition: Wonderful used antique condition with signs of wear in keeping with age and a great patina. Some cracks, chips, wear and scratches.
