A Chippendale, George III style, carved mahogany tilt-top tripod table, dating from the second half of the C19th. A high quality table, featuring a well figured, solid mahogany top with gadroon carved edge. A rotating birdcage tilt mechanism. Supported by a baluster stem, raised on a tripod of carved cabriole legs, terminating in claw and ball feet.

This table measures approximately 70.5 cm (27.75'') tall, and the top is 73 cm (28.75'') in diameter.
Condition:
Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This table is in good condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally sound and sturdy. There is a little play in the top, caused by wear from rotating the table. A simple collar fills the gap and stops the play. Though, unless this was to be used as a supper table would not cause an issue. Some minor/small marks and blemishes. Cleaned and Waxed. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
