Beautiful, rich natural dyes have been used in this fine Caucasian rug, from the North East Caucasus. The slanting multi coloured stripes are filled with small flowers and birds, while the brightly coloured border is full of energy and motion. An exceptional piece but has some small stains that do not wash out, and some old, well done repairs, and is therefore priced below cost to be moved along. A great buy for someone who loves old rugs and doesn't mind some small defects!
