This gorgeous all brass king-sized bed has a delightful mix of round and square tube brass. With very nice rod ends and upstands. With good sized 2” posts, this bed has a lovely and sturdy feel, despite having pretty panels.

James Shoolbred was a prominent British furniture manufacturer and retailer known for its exquisite craftsmanship and high-quality furnishings. Founded in the mid-19th century, the company quickly gained recognition for its exceptional designs and attention to detail.

Although the original James Shoolbred company ceased operations in the mid-20th century, their name and designs continue to be revered by collectors and enthusiasts of antique and vintage furniture. Professionally restored with all joints checked for a solid and secure fit. The siderails have been adapted to be able to take slats or a bed base.
