Victorian mahogany two-door glazed bookcase having a carved gallery back, two glazed doors furnished with a decorative metal handle and mouldings above each glazed panel - enclosing three adjustable shelves with two small drawers below and all resting on bracketed feet.The glazed doors come complete with a key, but the lock does tend to stick - so will probably need a good oiling!This is a lovely, solid and sturdy bookcase which affords great storage. The bookcase has a lovely patina that only comes with time and use. There are some marks and dints here and there - but all in keeping with a piece of this age. Despite this, it has a beautiful rich colour and would look fabulous in any setting!
