British Light Dragoon Flintlock pistol, Late 18th, Early 19th Century. 14 Bore.

The flintlock pistol is of regulation type with a Full Walnut stock.
 
The Pistol is brass mounted with standard grip cap, trigger guard with small husk finial & flat serpentine side plate, complete with ramrod.
 
The flintlock has a a bevelled border-engraved regulation lock with ''GR'' cipher and is Crowned. It has a regulation serpentine cock with an integral rounded pan and a tapering barrel.
 
Circa 1790-1800
 
Condition: small chips and repairs in keeping with age and usage. Original with slight cleaning to metal, showing areas of pitting overall. Lock with clear markings. Ramrod possibly replaced.
